Kim Furlow has lived and worked as a professional actress, singer and voice talent in the St. Louis area for more than 25 years. She continues to perform with such local and regional professional theatres as: Mustard Seed, HotCity, Stray Dog, New Jewish Theatre, New Line, Muddy Waters, Arrowrock Lyceum, Ozark Actor’s Theatre and Dramatic License Productions. Favorite roles include “Sister Aloysius” in DOUBT, A PARABLE (2009 Kevin Kline Award Nominee, Outstanding Actress in a Play); “Matron Mama Morton” in CHICAGO; “Jane” in THE MOST FABULOUS STORY EVER TOLD; and “Jessie Cates” in ‘NIGHT, MOTHER.

Kim was a morning show news anchor and sidekick on the nationally-syndicated “Steve and D.C. Morning Show” and the news director for KCMQ-KTGR in Columbia, Missouri. She was a public relations account manager and director for clients in the telecommunications, entertainment, hospitality, home goods and non-profit arenas. In 2009, Kim and husband Andy Knef saw a niche for professional theatre in west St. Louis County and founded Dramatic License Productions. Kim is an adjunct teaching artist at Dramatic License Theatre, COCA in University City, and STAGES St. Louis as well as wife, mom, stepmother to five and grandmother to six. She enjoys playing with her two Chihuahuas and cat named Bogey and sleeping.
