Gary Wayne Barker is Professor of Acting and Chair of Fine and Performing Arts at Saint Louis University.  Prof. Barker is an active performer in Saint Louis professional theatre, and has performed, directed, and taught internationally.  He was awarded the 2005 Kevin Kline Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play as "Boolie" in Driving Miss Daisy at The New Jewish Theatre.  Regional:  The Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis, The Human Race Theatre Company, Kenley Players, Shakespeare Festival Saint Louis, Avalon Theatre Company, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, HotCity Theatre, Vanity Theatre, Ozark Actors Theatre, Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, and Historyonics.  Prof. Barker is represented by TalentPlus, and is a Resident Artist at Mustard Seed Theatre.  Education:  MFA--Acting from Michigan State University, advanced study at The Actors Center in New York and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
