Nancy Bell just moved to St. Louis from Los Angeles in the summer of 2010 to join the local theatre community and to take a job as an assistant professor of theatre at SLU.  She has been a professional actress for more than 20 years, and has played leading roles at many Off-Broadway and regional theatres, including Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theatre, McCarter Theatre, Berkeley Rep, ACT, Old Globe Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse, Hartford Stage Company, Dallas Theatre Center, Baltimore Center Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Paper Mill Playhouse, and many appearances at South Coast Repertory in Southern California.   She has appeared in many television shows, as well, such as Medium, Numbers, Star Trek Voyager, Huff, The Bold and the Beautiful, Guiding Light, Law and Order, and Law and Order: SVU, among others.
